Before I came to California, every hour of every day of my life was pretty much the same. My chain was in the same spot and my little plastic drum house was my bed. Now I live in a house with my foster family, lots of things happen every day, so I though I would tell y'all about my days.
Every morning I wake up in my soft and cozy bed when the alarm goes off. We all go outside to check out the back yard to see what happened during the night. Then we have breakfast. I watch the foster lady very closely while she's making breakfast because I want to make sure I get my fair share.
Once our bellies are full Lulu, Uba and I all play and wrestle while the foster lady gets ready for work. We have a lot of fun, and then I go in my crate to rest.
After a little while our friend Rich comes to see us. He gives me lots of hugs and kisses. I really like him and I think he likes me too.
Then we wait a while and Uba watches out of the front window for the foster lady to come home so we can go for a nice walk. Sometimes Lulu and I walk together and other times its Uba and I. When Uba doesn't go for a walk, he runs on his treadmill. I am trying to figure out how to work the treadmill because it looks like so much fun.
Then we all practice our nose work or "sit" and "look" and "down", have our dinners and snuggle on the couch until its time to go to bed.
Sometimes Lulu lets me snuggle next to her when its bedtime and I really like that.
My days are so interesting now, I can hardly believe how lucky I am. Its a long way from my heavy chain and lonely drum house.
Kisses,
Winnie
I love how you rest your chin on Lulu. Our dogs do that too; is it a pitbull thing? It's so great to see you experiencing so much each day!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have a different place to live now cuz I bet it was really loud living inside a drum.
ReplyDeletei am so glad you have found happiness.
